About Brightwheel
Brightwheel is a childcare management software technology designed to simplify, automate, and speed up the management of childcare centers and early childhood education programs. It helps with daily tasks such as billing, enrollment, communication, family engagement, staff management, and record-keeping.
Admissions Steps
Follow these steps for the admissions process. Please let us know if you have any questions concerning these steps.
- Click on the admission link at the bottom of the page.
- Create an account with Brightwheel.
- Complete the following six forms:
- Parent handbook – Read the entire handbook to make sure we are a good fit for your family – sign and date the last page – it will not move from page to page – click the next page on the left.
- Enrollment form – Complete and sign
- Authorization to release form – Anyone including parent/guardian that will pick up your child. has to be on file to release the child.
- Emergency medical form
- Photo Release
- Exempt affidavit – Print and sign in front of a notary.
- Immunization card (blue card) – Current form from the health dept or pediatrician's office.
Brightwheel App
Upon enrollment at Watermark CDC, you'll get an email or text inviting you to set up your Brightwheel account. This app lets you communicate with your child's teacher or our main office, handle tuition payments, and receive daily updates about your child. This integration enhances your experience with your early childhood education preschool, making it easier to stay connected.
How to get started:
- Set up your Brightwheel account: Once you receive the invitation, create your parent account either on the Brightwheel website or mobile app. Use the same email or phone number to which the invite was sent.
- Verify your child's profile: After account creation, you'll see your child's profile. You can confirm details like birthdays, allergies, and emergency contacts here. If your child's profile isn't visible, please reach out to us with the email or phone number you used for registration.
- Customize account settings: Within the app, you can adjust your notification preferences in the profile settings.
- Enter payment information: Brightwheel provides a secure, automated online payment system. This feature not only saves time but also offers enhanced tools and detailed payment reports.
