Infants

Infants:  6 weeks-12 months

Infants

At Watermark CDC, our infant program is designed to provide a nurturing and secure atmosphere where your baby can thrive. Safety is our highest priority; our facilities are equipped with closely monitored areas, ensuring parents can have peace of mind while their infants explore. Throughout each day, we sing and read to the children.  Infants practice reaching, grasping, rolling, sitting, crawling, standing, walking, cooing, and talking, based on whichever developmental stage your child happens to be in at the time.  We have a six passenger stroller to take the children outside so that they may enjoy fresh air and experience nature when weather permits.

Parents

Parents are responsible for sending bottles, formula, breast milk, diapers, diaper cream,  wipes, two changes of clothes, and food each day.  All bottles, baby food and breast milk need to be labeled with child’s full name.  Parents must date bottles and provide written instructions for Breast Milk on how to prepare, store and use. Please be sure to send your child’s diaper bag daily. It is also the parent’s responsibility to check Brightwheel App and papers that are sent home to see if any items need to be replaced.  Each child has his or her own clearly labeled diaper bin.  All diapers are changed routinely, diapers soiled with a bowel movement are changed immediately.  The diaper changing tables are cleaned and disinfected between each diaper change, and hand washing of the childcare provider is performed after each diaper change.
