Toddlers: 12 -24 Months
Toddlers
At Watermark CDC, we aim to spark curiosity by allowing toddlers to engage in age-appropriate experiments and creative projects that stimulate their natural curiosity. Toddlers will learn through play by utilizing flash cards, books, sensory activities, fine motor skills, age-appropriate toys, outside play, and much more. We encourage participation, but the child will not be forced to participate. Most importantly, our goal is to make learning for all ages fun, and non-intimidating. We have a six passenger Bye Bye Buggy to take the children outside so that they may enjoy fresh air and experience nature when weather permits. Your child will attend Chapel once a week where we will have a time of worship and Bible Story from one of our Watermark Church Staff members.
Parents
Parents are responsible for sending diapers, wipes, two sippy cups (no bottles), order lunch from We Lunch It or send a lunch from home, two changes of clothes, and nap mats. Lunch is provided with whole milk. If your child cannot drink whole milk, please send a cup of preferred milk labeled with child’s full name. It is also the parent’s responsibility to check Brightwheel App and all papers that are sent home to see if any items need to be replaced. Each child has his or her own clearly labeled diaper bin. All diapers are changed routinely, diapers soiled with a bowel movement are changed immediately. The diaper changing tables are cleaned and disinfected between each diaper change, and hand washing of the childcare provider is performed after each diaper change.
